E-advertising : 14% total expense from all media spending

Regarding our last post, a growth in online advertising is expected for 2009.

A further study driven out by Benchmark Group offers detailed numbers of the Internet spending.

  • 52% of online activity is represented by “display”
  • 27% is sponsored links
  • 9% membership
  • 7% e-mailing

The whole of these online possibilities sum up to a 14% total expense from all media spending.

This growth of the Internet use is strengthened by the economic context, which incites the shiest actors to reinforce their presence on this media taking advantage of favorable costs and interesting campaigns possibilities on Internet.
